Jason
Goldstein is the President/CEO of Jason Goldstein Theatricals which
was founded as a producing umbrella for various arts and entertainment
ventures. The company's first production was the sports comedy and
parody musical revue, Chuckleball, which played off-Broadway
in the summer of 2004. Since its inception, Chuckleball has
gone on to play a variety of theater, college and corporate dates
and completed a 10 week run Off-Broadway at the Snapple Theater Center during the fall of 2007. The company is also developing two new musicals.
Prior
to starting JGT, Mr. Goldstein founded and was the producing artistic
director of the Livingston Theatre Company of Rutgers University
from 1998 until 2002. During his tenure he produced four musicals
a year and grew the company into the university's premiere musical
theater organization.
In
addition he has handled a variety of business activities in the
commercial, not-for-profit, and educational arenas of live stage
production, music, sports, retail, etc. He holds a Masters of Business
Administration (M.B.A) with a concentration in Entrepreneurship
and an individualized B.A. in Theatrical Business and Communication
with a minor in Music from Rutgers University.
